The Oil of His Presence

“I don’t want to be found lacking. Drench me in your oil oh Lord. Keep my lamp filled and burning for you my bridegroom. Let my fire spread and oil never run out. Welcome me into your gates, do not turn me away. Let your kingdom come and your will be done.

Keep me vigilant and prepared for your coming. Let me be wet with your living water. Drenched in your Spirit.

Now is the time to go forth and multiply all peoples and all nations as his Spirit falls on us. It’s not time to be lulled to sleep by the things of this world, but be awakened by his Spirit.

Come Spirit, come.

I’ve called you to be set apart for me. All these lesser things have caught your attention. I won’t have any less than what I have made you to be. Arise daughter, arise son meet me at the gate. You don’t know when I will come to scoop you away so be ready. Let your lamps be filled and burning. I am coming soon. Don’t be caught empty. Be filled continually in my presence. The oil of my presence is the purest oil and will burn brightly. It burns to light the way for others, don’t let the only light they may ever see go out.

The people needing their lamps filled are standing shoulder to shoulder with you. Unbeknownst to you.

Let your fire burn so others find their way to deeper relationship with me.

Those that make it to the end… Don’t relinquish your crown.

The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
