Lord, you endured the cross of sin and death. You carried my burden and defeated it, so I could carry your burden instead. Your burden is light. I choose to follow you until the end. Not because I am great, but because you are worthy.
I choose to pick up my cross and endure what this world throws at me, knowing I have a reward at the end if I do not grow weary.
Give me the endurance to finish this race. With you in my sights I cannot fail.
