Intro/Beginner: Painting with the Holy Spirit

Course Overview:

Hey, thanks so much for your interest in our Painting Workshop! 

I want you to know that this workshop is not based on skill level or spiritual level. We aim to welcome the Holy Spirit to meet us where we are.

The Prophetic Art Workshop is designed to help you uncover your true identity in Christ. The exercises we walk through may help you discover areas of your life or relationship with your Creator that need attention, it may awaken spiritual gifts, and may also give you practical application opportunities for your walk with the Lord.

Some things we focus on (but not limited to) are people pleasing, perfectionism, comparison and self doubt.

This is tailored to fit any skill level and is not limited to skillful painters. We come together to connect with one another and with the Holy Spirit. We desire to create an atmosphere of safety and stillness. We invite the Spirit of God to have full reign in the session.

Some things you may experience at this workshop are:

Receiving prophetic words or words of encouragement
Tools that may set you on a path to healing
The release of your creativity
Gained confidence in who God has made you to be

At the end of our time together you will have achieved a personal prophetic/ encouraging image to take home with you. You will have gained experience and tools to help you navigate your walk with the Lord.

We limit this type of workshop to 10 participants per night (unless a private group is comfortable with one another [then we increase that]). This is so that everyone feels safe to share and to garner the best personal experience possible.

Course Outline:

We will be learning to listen for/discern the voice of the Holy Spirit, confront/deal with spiritual barriers that prevent us from stepping into the fullness of who God is and what he has for us as his children, and seek to find healing from perfectionism, comparison, fear of man/people pleasing, self-doubt, self criticism and anything else the Holy Spirit brings to the surface.

• Identifying Spiritual Barriers
• Short Biblical instruction
• Rules for Painting
• Begin worship and guided painting exercise

Each Workshop Date Includes:

• 2 hours of artistic and biblical instruction
• Various paint colors
• (1) 12×12 Canvas per date
• Paint Brushes/other tools
• Water Cups for rinsing
• Paper Towels
• Gloves
• Wipes
